My Practice
Psychotherapy can be viewed as a journey. The goal of this experience is to enrich the client who is often struggling with real life pain. Often this pain is caused by the lack of a good fit or a mismatch between the individual and their environment. Environmental factors often include relational issues, health, and illness. The negative response to the mismatch is often stress, anxiety, depression, frustration and substance abuse. The therapist and the client collaborate to explore alternatives and solutions that may have eluded the individual in their quest for peace, focus, and wellness.  

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker I offer psychotherapy to adolescents, adults and elders. I maintain an affordable, reduced fee clinic for those who have limited or no insurance coverage for psychotherapy. I manage scheduling myself in order to minimize confusion and in order to be most responsive to client needs. Please contact me by voicemail to schedule an appointment. Both day and evening appointments are available and in most cases appointments can be made within 24 hours of the initial request for services.

Clinical approaches I use include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral, Depth Psychology, Ego Psychology, Object Relations, Narrative, and Solution Focused techniques. I have an extensive background in Behavioral Health, therefore, my perspective is holistic with an understanding that the overall health and wellness of an individual has much to do with their emotional outlook and coping strategies.
